ABOUT SACK NATION

CHRIS JONES' BIO

Chris Jones is one of the best Defensive Tackles in the Nation Football League (NFL) and currently starts for the Kansas City Chiefs. A native of Houston, Mississippi Chris went to Houston High School where he was ranked a 5-star recruit and would commit to play at Mississippi State University where he would be one of the best Defensive Tackles in the country.

After his third season with the Bulldogs Chris entered the 2016 NFL Draft where he was drafted to play for the Kansas City Chiefs. He immediately became an impact player. In 2018 he lead the team for the second straight year as the highest rated defensive player. He would finish his 2018 season with 15.5 sacks (3rd in the NFL), 40 tackles, and a pick 6. If you were to ask Chris what was most important to him, you would always get the same answer, his family. Chris is extremely close with his parents, Chris Jones Sr. and Mary Woodhouse. He also remains very close with his grandmother, Flora Woodhouse, who he makes sure to see as much as possible, even during the season. Chris is also the father of two kids, Christian and Chris, who are his life!
